Our Team

Larry D. Copeland – Owner / President

Larry attended York Technical College and completed the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC) program in 1986 with an associate’s degree. Larry has also completed training and courses offered by Trane, Carrier, York, Mitsubishi R2, and non destructive Eddy Current testing classes. Larry is a licensed Mechanical Contractor in the State of South Carolina and holds a Universal Refrigerant card. He has been in the Commercial and Industrial HVAC market for over 25 years.

Larry and his wife reside in Rock Hill, S.C. and he has three daughters. His hobbies include boating, coastal fishing and trout fishing.

Rodney L. Gordon – Owner / Vice President

Rodney graduated from Gaston College in 1981 from the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC) program. Rodney has attended and received extensive factory training from all of the major manufacturers including Trane, Carrier, York, McQuay, and Mitsubishi. He has over 30 years of experience in the Commercial and Industrial HVAC industry and has successfully managed all aspects of projects including small, large, critical, and fast paced projects. Rodney is a licensed Mechanical Contractor by the State of North Carolina and is Universal Refrigerant certified.

Rodney and his wife reside in Kings Mountain, N.C. and are active in First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain. He is also active in local government, serving 12 years as Councilmember for the City of Kings Mountain.

Billy Garrison – Operations Manager

Billy attended Central Piedmont Community College where he completed the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC) program. He has worked in the commercial and industrial HVAC industry for over 25+ years in many different roles which includes Service Technician, DDC/Pneumatic Controls Service/Installation, and Management positions. He has attended and completed numerous factory training classes from Carrier, Trane, Mitsubishi, and others. Currently Billy is the Operations Manager at Carolina Air Solutions, Inc. and his duties include managing daily operations, employee scheduling, project management, customer relations, bidding/billing jobs, etc. Billy has Mechanical Contractor License by the State of North Carolina for H1, H2, & H3. 

Billy resides in Marshville, N.C. Billy’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Eric Gaydos – Senior Service Technician

Eric Gaydos is an accomplished technician with over 20 years of experience in the commercial and industrial HVAC field. He has achieved HVAC certification from the National Center of Construction Education and Research. He has also attended and completed training courses in compressor rebuild and analysis as well as OSHA safety training. Eric also has considerable training in Carrier 3V controls and Trane R series air cooled and water cooled chillers.

Eric is married and has three sons. His hobbies are motorcycles, shooting, and camping with his family.

Jeff Blades- Senior Service Technician

Jeff Blades is an experienced HVAC technician with over 30 years in the industry.  He recieved accreditation at the United States Air Force Heating and Air Conditioning Technical School. He has completed training at the Carrier University for 30 series screw-scroll chiller.

Jeff lives in York with his family.

Matt Poole-Service Technician

Matt has been an employee of Carolina Air Solutions, Inc for 10 years and has 19 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He has attended and completed training at Gaston College. He has had Intellipak training and Johnson Controls training. Matt also has extensive training in Carrier 3V controls and Trane R series air cooled and water cooled chillers.

Matt resides in Lincolnton with his wife and daughter.

Stephanie Jenkins – Office Manager

Stephanie has been the office manager at Carolina Air Solutions since 2012. She is an alumnus of Belmont Abbey College with a B.A. in Accounting. Her day to day activities include human resources, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Stephanie resides in Lancaster, SC with her family.

Dora Vause – Administrative Assistant of Operations

Dora has been the Administrative Assistant of Operations for CAS since 2007. She played a vital role in designing a custom built web based software program that enables CAS in dispatching, scheduling, record keeping, employee time recording and completion of assigned work orders. Dora operates the software package to assure all these areas flow smoothly. Dora also takes service calls from customers, schedules and dispatches service calls and maintenance visits, receives and processes technician paperwork. She processes the paperwork for billing and processes vendor invoices for payment. Upper Management depends on her for assistance and special projects.

Dora and her husband live in Clover, S.C.
